Cabreo, built for elevation.

Why elevation

Distance tells you how far. It doesn’t tell you what the race will do to you.

Training for 3,000m of vert when the biggest hill near you is 50m — that’s the problem nobody else solves.

How it works

An AI-built plan, shaped by your data — training you for the steepest climb ahead.

Cabreo app screens: drafting a race's terrain from a GPX file, the periodized weekly plan, a workout with HR-zone and terrain-substitution detail, the home dashboard, and training analytics

Your goal

  • Prepping a specific race, general fitness, post-race recovery, or a return from injury — each with its own intake
  • Race terrain hand-drafted or pulled straight from a GPX file
  • Plan length and race date shape the full base/build/peak/taper periodization

Your performance

  • Real heart-rate zones from Strava, or estimated from age and gender when it's not connected
  • Recent efforts and PRs pulled in to sharpen pace and race-time estimates
  • Perceived effort and prior-race results calibrate the plan to how hard things actually felt
  • Current weekly mileage, vert, and available training days set the starting point

Your lifestyle

  • Real mountains, hills, treadmill incline, or a stair machine — whatever you've actually got access to
  • Cross-training like cycling, swimming, or the elliptical folded into the plan, not ignored
  • Nothing generic: the plan adapts to the terrain and time you actually have

Who it’s for

You bring the legs. We build the path.

Cabreo doesn’t assume how much mountain experience you have — it asks about the race in front of you and builds from there.

  • Tackling your first race with real vertical gain
  • A regular trail runner chasing a bigger mountain objective
  • An experienced ultra or skyrunner refining the details
FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is Cabreo available on the App Store or Google Play?

Not yet — we’re pre-launch and distributing to a small testing group via Android APK and iOS TestFlight. If you want in, just reach out and we’ll get you set up.

How does Cabreo actually build my plan?

Your race's terrain — hand-drafted or pulled from a GPX file — feeds an AI-generated, fully periodized plan (base, build, peak, taper). It's built around the specific climbs and descents of your race, not a generic template scaled by distance. And you don't need a race in mind at all — general training, easing back in after a race, and returning from injury each get their own plan too.

What if I don't have real mountains nearby?

The plan adapts to what you've actually got. Hill repeats, treadmill incline, or a stair machine stand in for terrain you don't have access to, matched to the vertical demands of your race.

Do I need to connect Strava?

No, but it's recommended. Connecting it pulls your real heart-rate zones and recent efforts to sharpen the plan, and it loads your activities and links them straight to your planned workouts. Skip it and we estimate your zones from age and gender instead — either way, every workout still states a real bpm target.

What if I do other training besides trail running?

Cross-training is factored in, not ignored. Add cycling, swimming, or the elliptical and the AI takes them into account both when building your plan and every time it re-evaluates and adjusts it.

Is this only for experienced ultra or skyrunners?

No — Cabreo is built for anyone training for a race with real vertical, from a first mountain race to an experienced skyrunner refining the details. The plan adapts to your starting fitness, not the other way around.

What if I'm not training for a specific race?

There's a general training path with no race required, plus dedicated flows for easing back in after a race or returning from injury.
